*you get extra points if you can say it with a completely innocent expression.

I am the most innocent Steeple on here . (Did I type that innocently enough )
Pieman, i am debating whether or not to give you a totem roll . What the heck, i will let you off the hook... you were pretty cleverl... but are you still ornery these days?
T, doesn't it amaze you how folks like Scarl and Pieman can take a thread and always manage to put gnomes or innuendos or LACK OF innocence into it???

Well, Emilio went back into his cave last week. Lured him out on Wed. but I spent yet another weekend ALONE. sigh.....bummed....
So how long shall I give him? I'm thinking this week end.....enough is enough, right??
Why isn't this any easier when you get older??? Or is it just how one's heart works...young or old.?
He did tell me he cared for me on Wed....? But that does not comfort me much if he is in his cave.
Any way.. just venting.... ....again...
Thanks,
T

Hmmmm...
I'm starting to suspect this dog won't hunt.
perhaps he really is spreading himself too thin with so much going on...
maybe think of it as I think of those people that drive 15 miles under the speed limit...on the interstate...
only they truly know what they are capable of.
so if 55 in a 70 really is the best they can do, my options are slow down or go around.

I'm admiring the way that Texas take on a thing makes so much sense, Scarlett, though for Tina's sake, I wish it didn't.

Scarl n Kath,
Me, too......
I really need to get a life and stop over thinking this....
We have a date on Thursday.
Any way.....
I'm in a "place" right now and I need to get out of it....
I need to make some resolutions....I've been avoiding them.....
I guess this new life is a lot harder to dream this time around...
I'm not asking for sympathy.... I don't know what .......
can't finish the sentence!....
eeeeee gads........
I'm CRAZY!
Better get my thoughts in gear and get on with it......it is the ?.....
Thinking out loud...................

Scarl, that makes a great deal of sense.

OhMyGOSH...what's scarier?
that story...
or that y'all got it!
but yes, my unsolicited point was we can't always control what's happening around us....
we DO have at least some control over how we react!
a local 'tailgate preacher' ends his daily message with the line, "Remember, life is about choices not chances."
YOU are still in charge of you, Hatlady!!
so now we just have to figure out what that IT is????

That is so true!
I need to figure out what I'm in charge of! lol...
My "depth perception" is way off right now...
Damn I hate when my head is in the mud....
My intuition is down there with it! lol
ok ok...i'm going ...
where I don't know...
but at least my sense of humor is better....
Ahhh, just in time for bed....now I can sleep!
Thanks ya'll
Love,
Hat Lady....
When I figure this thing , this "it" out...it'll be in outrageous colors...of course...

I'm going to make one suggestion, especially since you are an artist....get your favorite art materials out and just start. You don't need to know what you're making or where you're headed. It might help you find the next word in the sentence.
OR....(and I just heard this suggestion recently) close your eyes and draw some faces on a piece of paper. After you look at them, take a separate sheet of paper for each one that you want to pursue and color/scribble/whatever on it with colors and lines which seem right as related to the face. Color the face if you want. Cut it out. Cut/tear out a body & arms/legs from the scribbled paper. Put it all together into a paper doll. This is not intended to be pretty thing, but it might shed some light inward or at least make you go..."hmmmmmm...."
I did the paper doll exercise recently......"hmmmmmmmm...." and I've been making polymer heads for dolls with the most surprising results! They've been nothing like what I intended. Still not sure what it means, but it's opened an interesting internal dialog.
I know you'll figure it all out regardless, but your art may help you discover things faster...
