I guess the way this message board seems to fall into disrepair every so often is a lesson in impermanence. It's not exactly true that nothing lasts forever. It's more true that nothing last forever without changing.

Getting change out that is stuck in the muck might be hard to do, but once it comes out, and you shine it up a bit, you smile and say: "Now that wasn't as bad as you thought it was gonna be!"
