Hi iam new kid on the block: akeia (mudwatertraveler2)
TODAY I AM GRATIFUL FOR:
QUIET DAYS AND GOOD WEATHER- (NO COASTAL FRONTS)
- the life and breath god gave me and mine
- a roof over my head
- clean water, and clean undies
-good people who open their hearts & embrace us in this new place.
most of all for the creative force of art, music, and dance.
for you - (i kept a written journal and now i can share my thoughts
with someone who appreciate the grateful principle.
thanks you!!!

Today I am grateful for
family and a true friend,
fall,
brandy, lemon, & honey,
fall,
that the sky looks blue even though scientists say it isn't,
that Etta James stood in front of a microphone and sang,
and that I had all the stuff I needed to make vegetable soup.
Oh, and fall.

Today, I feel grateful for my close friends, who put up with my imperfections. for my children always, for natures beauty, for Jesus; for poetry, art, music and their creators.
For dreams of beautiful things to come, and for dreamers.

Today I am grateful for my cat on my lap as I type, that the temperature did not fall below zero, that I remembered Aunt Donna, that I am secure on my tightrope, at least for today.

forgivness.
hurt.
forgiving.
love.
strength.
ability to overcome.
ability to move on.
life's rollercoaster....wheee...
my inner strength, my beliefs, my heart which may hurt at times, i couldn't know what it is to enjoy the greatness of my life if there weren't these precious precious moments.

HOMEWARD BOUND -
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I AM MOST GRATEFUL TO SEE TODAY.
to be able to return for a brief time to the place know as HOME.
to reconnect, to work the harvest of those still in heaviness of
their storms, and to heal myself.
for hands that comforted us-
for breath of life.
for smiles,
hot tea, and tv, art,
trees,trees, more trees {outside my window}
-storypeople place.

I am grateful for Summer cook-outs, concerts or Chicago park festivals, and connections with friends you haven't met yet. Yesterday I was sitting next to a sweet goddess at a conference that hugged me so tight & took me in right away. We laughed all day. What a hoot.
