"I don't really DO drama", she said pointedly as she struggled

to keep the jumbled mess of masks full of feathers an sequins stuffed

into her handbag. She didn't even notice the glittery footprints

she left in her wake when she spun on her heel and stomped away.

Lol, this is cute Rose. Her words and actions do not match up. I can picture times in my life when I got involved in "drama' and swore it was not so. No doubt i left my own glittery footprints.

Lol Linda, cute poem! This is how my mind works...I'd probably say something like: She said she was not addicted to coffee as she awakened and went through her day minus lattes, her hair standing up as she clenched her fists through it, her writing no more than a scribble because her hands were shaking so, her eyes glazed over, and her mood beyond grumpy. What a vile person she was then!

I have a hat
It tells me
I'm bossy
Gives me
power to be

I have a hat
Makes me free
I'm independent
Gives me
Freedom

I have a hat
Makes me sparkle
I'm fun
Gives me
Playfulness

A hat I don't
Need for sensitivity
Already have
Who I
Am

Brave, courage, bold
Hats for me
So I can be
Almost
Anyone

Drama...it's not all bad...moderation makes all the difference in the world. Hats, shoes, scarves, sparkles...let them be dramatic.

and if they smell of coffee, all the better !

cute hat and coffee poems, Linda! So true about me and the hats!

For Linda:
My life with scarves

the purple paisley one for mystery
and power that I wear with anything black
the soft shimmery gold one that floats over my shoulder
and glows with my slinky long white negligee
the long silky red one that I tie around my neck and it spires up when I drive my
racy convertible
the short navy blue one with white pin stripes that I wear as an ascot with
my ivory suit
The long sheer black one with jewel tone beads on the fringe and along the sides that I wear casually tied over my jean jacket. (my personal favorite)
Scarves are sexier with a story behind them. Don't ya think?
