I wander daily, Loving Love, Loving Time and its swiftly flowing passage, carry me along, I won't fight the upstream swim any longer, the current is too strong now to keep looking back and I am Here. The blessing, Oh I am Here. The rain is falling softly and the dog breathes on my feet, and I have feet, and hands, and thoughts and friends, and the love of my soul to be thankful for, I'm thankful with the Love of my soul....
I want to pray for the children of the world, that they may blossom
for the impoverished, that they may have plenty
the wounded hearts, and those who struggle to let go, that there may be Healing...
and for the blessed of the world, all you blessed of this world, that we may carry the dust on our feet, everywhere we go, Lest We Forget...
Peace in your hearts,
With the love of my soul

What a beautiful prayer/anthem, Miss Mallory!
I love how you think and write.
More, please! I'll be in line with the rest of em when you write your first book!

Well said, Mal. I agree it is important to count our blessings while not forgetting where we came from or those less fortunate.
Peace,
Jo
Look up at the sky. Ask yourself, "Has the sheep eaten the flower or not?" And you'll see how everything changes.
And no grown-up will ever understand how such a thing could be so important!

Thanks T and Jo,
I feel like I'm learning about not only remembering, but spreading awareness and how to act, as well...
Our wee community has been blossoming with ideas and starting to put them into action. The boys just left for a meeting with some head honcho's at a nearby school to talk with them about some of the city land in the neighborhood - getting some grants and permission to clean some of it up. We are looking to start an urban garden, and get the surrounding community involved, to grow food for this part of the city. There is so much poverty here, so many houses boarded up, torn down... so many families with issues with drugs, so many families who have a solid meal maybe once a week at the community church. If we get this garden started, there will be a way for a lot of families to have more food, inexpensively, and growing a garden is about the greenest thing anybody can do. Get Excited!
Peace in your hearts,
With the love of my soul
