Oh yeah, Aspen's got a vicious headbutt and he usually gets me in the mouth with it. One time as a joke I put the neighbor kid's hockey mask on when I came in--thinking it would be sarcastic and funny--but the dog thought I was some kind of monster/intruder and nearly ate my face off in protest...I couldn't get that #@*% thing off fast enough! It's kind of comforting though--makes me feel really, really safe from any masked marauders as long as he's around.

So did you rename Aspen when you joined the Applejack fam? Hmmm, I guess Colorado Springs wouldn't make a very good pet name...Manitou might work though.
The pictures are adorable!!! The ones of your pets and of you and Applejack as well!! Thanks for sharing them with us!

No, and that's another really cool element to the SassleJack union. We both gave our pets Colorado-related names before we even met.
