living in the past,
in regret,
in the shoulds and shouldn't haves
in the whys and whats.

and really, all there is is to go toward the love,
keeping that in mind,
go toward the love,
let go of the rest,
and then a grateful heart opens,
and the past finds a corner to nestle in and the rest falls away.

today i feel grateful for what i had,
the gift, the absolute gift of love
and i feel grateful for what i HAVE...
the same gift, different form.
and i hold that, nestled in my heart
as i move forward in life
vastly loved and loving
moving toward the love,
toward the joy.

reaching out my hand,
through the thin membrane of seperation,
i hold yours
grateful today, your birthday,
that i was able to share so much of your life,
to know i loved and was loved
and to be reminded in so many ways to move toward that love,
always in gratitude

always with joy.

peace,
michele

that emoticon should not be embarrassed, just blushing.

i appreciate all the comments.
i just deicded to sit down and write and that's what came from what i was feeling in the moment.

can't help but think i had some help there,
and am listening hard myself to what i wrote.

and, yes rich,
a rush of peace came over me as i pressed send.

it takes what it takes, as long as it takes, but understanding there is a path allows the steps to be taken,
without fear,
with joy.
with love and peace.

i kept thinking my peace sign-off was for the world.
i get it now.

peace,
mish
