I have had better pictures taken of me, but never in better company! This is Brian and I at the beautiful Show of Hands Gallery in Cherry Creek, Denver this past Saturday!

If I look like I've been out chasing animals in Rocky Mtn National Park and white knuckling it through CU Boulder football traffic, it's because I have! (That route was a big mistake!) And since Brian was kind enough to hang out longer than he'd scheduled, even though he was jetlagged and had been greeting adoring fans for 5 hours, I ran in as soon as I parked without even a glance in the mirror. (Kinda wish I'd taken 2 minutes to comb the hair and blot the face.)

I felt very honored that Brian allowed me to make him late for dinner! It was wonderful to get to see him in person! I always like being able to put the face and voice and sense of humor all together. He looked rather angelic in his bright white shirt, but of course with a twinkle in the eye rather than a halo.

Mame I don't care how you think you look, it's pretty to me! So good you got to meet Brian, too.

Here's a shot of Ms. Mallory and I, taken just this past weekend. Smiles and eyes say a lot, and you can bet we were having a good time!
.

HAHA...it just occured to me I didn't tell you who's who. Should I make you guess? HMMM. *evil grin*

Mich, read this: (If you already have photos on the internet somewhere, skip the link.)

http://chat.storypeople.com/jforum/posts/list/154218.page

There is a change for photobucket.
Once you have your pictures on photobucket, (if you use that site),
there will be several url addresses under each thumbnail photo. The title for the url address you need used to be "url", now it is "Direct Link". Highlight and capture (Control-C) the url labeled "Direct Link".

Login and open up and title a new post on storypeople and click on the Img button, then paste (Control-V) the address you captured in your buffer.

Then click on the Img button again. Then hit "preview" to see if it works properly. If so, hit the submit button.

Don't forget you have an edit button if you need it. (on the upper righthand of your post.) If you have photos on a site other than photobucket and aren't sure which url to use, experiment til you figure it out.

mame, i think it's a GREAT picture of you, not that i've ever ween you in person, that is, but your happiness is coming through, and that's the most important thing!

krista and mallory....i had a different mental picture of the two of you, although i did have the dark hair correct.

i love picturing people from either their voice, or writings and personality and see how correct or incorrect i am. it's a lot of fun, and many times the real thing is better than the mental image.

Dear Mish,

I think the missing piece is this:

1. First, you have to have the photos stored somewhere on the web, like flickr or photobucket.

2. Then, when you post, you point towards where the photos are stored. (That's the HREF or IMG SRC tag).

Though it seems like it'd be really simple to just have it refer to where you have the photos filed on iPhoto, your computer would have to be a server to make that work.

So, you'll still have to go through the process of uploading them to another server on the web first. Sorry... :-/

with love, Brian

Our Faces define us.... and make us somewhat unique....Did you know that it takes two separate brain actions for us to remember a face....One, the eye has to record it...and then a section of the brain has to have an emotional attachment...if not we won't remember....even our children...
