Hugs, Krista. And I agree it has to be okay.

Cathy is still on Facebook. Kind of eerie, in a sad way. Your post reminded me of that, LG. I thought about sending her an email, like maybe she would get it wherever she is and reply...I know that sounds dumb or childish, but it did cross my mind.

Love,
Jo

That doesn't sound dumb, or childish...

Just... open to possibilities...

You never know how winks may come.

You know... I remember your daddy and how much he loved to talk about your Mom that week you went home...
Perhaps it is his way of keeping her with him.

It is okay...

Jo - sending a big warm hug. I'm sorry for your loss. I understand the mixture of emotions. Don't run from them; that won't solve anything. What you're going through is normal and healthy for a sensitive person who loses a good friend in complicated circumstances. Don't let the guilt stay, though. you have nothing to feel guilty about.

Oh Jo! ((((((((JO)))))))))

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I haven't been here very much. But please, sweetie, promise me that you will just allow yourself to feel everything you feel and not judge yourself for it. Grief and loss are a part of being human, and you need to allow yourself to grieve, cuz that's the only way to eventually get to the other side of this.

Loved what Linda and so many others said far better than I could.

Jo, you have such a big kind heart! Please don't let anyone make you feel like you didn't love well. Kathy knew that you loved her, and that's all that matters.

Love you,

~~Mame
