One of my roles in life is a soccer mom of four. A few weekends ago, my two younger children each had a soccer game. During the drive home after watching both soccer games, I told my children that they needed to be more aggressive out there on the field and be physical if being pushed. Both teams had played against teams that shoved, pushed, knocking players down, and saying unkind words not a team that I would want my children playing with. I told them to play tougher and take charge, even if they had to be more like the teams they were playing against. My daughter looked at me and said But mom, we werent brought up that way. I smiled as my daughter brought me back to reality and the way that my husband and I want our children to live. I was so caught up in the winning aspect that I forgot about the character counts. I looked her back in the eyes and told her she was right and never mind what I just said!

I am very grateful for the family I have!!

Great story!
