That is what Papa Pera said to us (the music ministry dude at UD) - don't teach him how to talk, discourage walking, enable him to be little bitty like this for as long as possible. Maybe he'll skip the terrible twos.

I am so grateful that God is openning doors and causing the finances to finally begin to flow!

I am thankful for a job where
**I am not stuck sitting in front of a computer all day! (by the way, that is why I'm not on here so much anymore. I'm out driving around, calling on businesses.)
**I get to meet new and interesting people everyday!
**I get to get out into the sunshine!
**Everyday is different and unpredictable.
**I am helping people to safeguard their families and their finances.

I am thankful that business owners are saying yes to me! (I set 6 new appointments last week and out of the 3 appointments that I met with so far this week, no one has said "no" to offering Aflac to their employees.

I am grateful that I was able to sell 11 policies last week and 6 so far this week! God is good!!!

You crack me up, Jo! Thanks everyone! I am 2 or 3 policies away from my "Super fast start" award which would mean an extra $200 in bonus money, and I am meeting with 2 people early tomorrow, (which is the last day I am eligible for the award). So if you read this before then, and are a praying person, don't hesitate!

I just went to the citywide National Day of Prayer meeting and got to say prayers of blessing over a couple of very important people in our city and my heart is just overflowing with gratitude! It is so much fun to get to bless people! And to feel that God has used you in the life of someone else!

Way to go, Mame!!! I'm so glad the sun is shining brightly on your bonny head.

We have an Aflac duck. My youngest (at 12) has hundreds of stuffed animals that he loves and names and plays with. I like that one more than he does.

Thanks everyone! I didn't quite make my bonus goal. Some of the policies I wrote this past week "pended". Oh well.

It was great to see how my manager wanted it for me even more than I did. He bent over backwards to help try to make it happen. It's great to know you have that kind of support!

And I'm very excited about some of the new biz's I am working on. One is a 33 person govt agency that could be very lucrative. Another is a minor league sports org involving 32 people, which could lead to 7 more organizations like it!

And I am having fun!

PS, Jo--I had a little talking Aflac duck a few years ago, but I gave it to my grandnephew. I'll have to get another one.

The duck is fun, but my customers have no sense of urgency about moving forward, so I am looking for other work, hoping to still sell Aflac on the side. Wondering if I should sell the house and be done with it....and go live in my nephew's basement.

Still, there is always much to be thankful for:

*Blues Under the Bridge concert, to which I won 2 free tickets!
*Awesome amazing friends who feed me on weekends and stop by to get me so I can save my gas for work while still being sociable.
*New friends or maybe I should say, interesting aquaintances who are becoming true friends!
*My sweet little cuddleboo kitties.
*My wonderful 85-year-old dad who has been way too generous.
*"10 for $10" specials at the grocery store, and food in the freezer.
*Bing cherries which have been so cheap and sweet these last few weeks!
*Lots of opportunities to karaoke, and a maybe opportunity to sing some jazz with a saxophonist at a local cafe!
