Great thread, L. I do a daily gratitude list; it keeps me grounded.
I am grateful for...
friends, my family of Steeples, coffee (both caff and decaff), having all my needs met, the recent rains here, my kitty cat, and every single experience that led me to this moment.

choosing to be grateful today rather than sad...
grateful that his orders were in the states rather than overseas.
grateful we will have a whole 30 days with him before they move in November.
grateful for today's technology...webcams will be used much!
grateful for a new place to visit.
grateful for a place with us they can always call home, no matter where they go.

Howdy, Diann. (Pssst - where is that welcome wagon with the basket??)
Thanks everybody - I killed an ankle. It did feel better quick.
Today, I'm thankful for the things I've learned from my sons in the past 48 hours:
1. Surprises are good (he's coming home for a few days to a new house he hasn't seen and to a wife with a little belly  )
2. Service without complaint (he got out of bed after working an evening shift to put air in a tire so I could drive to work)
3. Relaxing is necessary (we had pizza on a weeknight and he found us a movie to watch - a usual Friday or Saturday chilaxing tradition that got skipped this weekend)
Oh, and I'm grateful for my boys. Today anyway.
