Maybe this should be in Chat, but I rather felt my gratitude double over and expand within me... So the Gratitude journal called out to me.
I have stumbled across this in the archives of my email once every two or three years for a long time, now, and when I stumbled across it tonight, I felt like it was time to share it here.
Quite the beauty and abundance and uplifting loveliness packed into a 2 minute or so video. You know, it kind of makes me think of Desiderata. Has anyone read that poem/book?

O'Malley, that is a stunning video...thanks for posting it. I think I will post it on my blog.

Look up at the sky. Ask yourself, "Has the sheep eaten the flower or not?" And you'll see how everything changes.
And no grown-up will ever understand how such a thing could be so important!

Desiderata
In the 70s, all the hippies and students had Desiderata hanging up in their rooms. Still pretty good advice, methinks. I actually have a copy in my studio.

Glad you like the video, Jo
And, Rich, it makes me happy that you still have a copy. It seems like something my favorite little monk should have.
I first read it when I discovered that dusty box of books in the attic... all of my mother's favorite books...
I still read half of them from time to time... and I used Desiderata in my final paper in my senior year of high school on the proverbial "Meaning of life."
Funny how that box of Mom's favorites comes up all the time.
Such a treasure.
