I wonder if you have any idea, birthday boy, just how many lives you touch with your work. Sometimes in my everyday walking-on-the-earth-world, here and there, now and then, I'll meet someone and somehow 'Story People' will drift into the conversation. Our eyes both will light up and suddenly, even if we just met, that person and I feel like we've known each other forever. It's just that powerful and it goes that deep. Hard to believe how different my life will be because of all the words here,
and mostly because of all the souls you've brought together.
The magnitude is overwhelming.
I don't know where I would be without all of the support and love and joy and openness of this place, without the windows of opportunity that I realize have no glass because of your stories and these people.
I'm just one person, so trying to fathom the depth of impact on more people is absurdly refreshingly impossible.
