...we were all just cooking.
I woke up at 1:30 in the morning so hungry I had to get up and go make a peanut butter sandwich.
|
um Sass,
1) does making lattes count as cooking?
2) when you woke up hungry, why didn't ya' just make s'mores over the campfire???
what a cool dream!
Peace, Jo

| Last night I dreamed I went to Storypeople camp. You know, like summer camp, only in December.
|
OK....now this has just GOT to be a sign!
time to really get organized for that storypeep tour....
though...maybe May would be better?!
(gonna be in NOLA in June and plan to be ah, otherwise occupied in July...after that it's just too darned hot here until late october.)
i could put bunk-beds up on the porches....
and/or get ~A~ to string up more hammocks!
got plenty of room for the bon fire and the drum circle....
seriously!!

Sounds like great fun! Unfortunately my finances won't allow me to make any promises about future travel at the moment. Let's just say everything is up in the air with Mame right now.
But I'm with you in spirit, even though I have very little to teach anyone about cooking. Pass the marshmallows please.

Oh, yea, I'm there! I think it'd be cool to teach y'all something to cook...Like my "award winning" pie crust.....JO, you're for that aren't you?? I could teach everyone how to make their fav pie......
Great dream, Sassy.
I've started to dream again lately....nothing good to report, though.

Scarl, if you can ask about ten foot pie, i can ask about how you are "otherwise occupied" in July .
T, heck yeah--bring on the pie crust!
um K...i never heard of Taurean brownies. but i'll try 'em. bet they go good with coffee and pie.
i am up for a gathering. i will bring my espresso maker. my life's motto: "no coffee, no travel".

otherwise occupied in July...
seriously!!
|
...uh huh...seriously...very subtle.
|
OK...first....no fair editing the quote Sassy!!!!
second, Jo....uh....perhaps it would have been more accurate to say
"hoping to be otherwise occupied"...so y'all don't jinx it!!!
and Third....
this would be so-o-o much fun!
kinda of a 'if you build it they will come' thing!!...gotta do this now!
y'all start thinking 'bout the 'when'....May really is nice here (and my B-day is the 25th!) and I can do anytime 'cept that very last weekend. mid-late june would be do-able, too and not too hot yet.
August and Sept are just too hot (!) but it's nice again by October....
...anybody flying and needing an excuse....Dallas or Austin are both excellent vaca destinations on their own (though i'd pick Austin, myself)
and then we're just a short trip away! there are also regional airports in Killeen & Waco.
y'all get within a 200 mile radius and we'll getcha the rest of the way!! lol
o'boy, o'boy, o'boy....
gotta go stock up on paintbrushes!
what???
kidding!!!

Scarlett - stock up on paint brushes. I can not think of anything more fun than getting together to help on the house - and possibly getting a mention in the book you are writing about the adventures of fixing it up!
I vote May! I always used to love to celebrate May Day - and that is not too early to celebrate your birthday because, after all, you celebrate all month, right? Right!
accept who you are then let her be. happiness follows.

But if we do it in May, how many would be able to return in July when Scarl is hopefully seriously occupied?
